Can the bags be made and certified too?

Recycled polyester is made from post-consumer PET bottles - about 12 bottles per 600D backpack - re-spun into yarn that performs exactly like virgin polyester. European retail and corporate CSR programmes increasingly require it, and increasingly require proof.

Senszx Fabrics stocks GRS-certified RPET in 300D, 600D and 900D with a Global Recycled Standard transaction certificate issued for each order. Rolls pass the same six tests as virgin polyester.

The back-coating or finish decides water resistance, cold-weather behaviour and, often, whether the bag passes EU retail requirements. Cost is relative to the uncoated base fabric.

Test reports ship with the order. Third-party tests (SGS, BV, Intertek) for REACH, CPSIA or Prop 65 are arranged on request.

Once the roll is approved it can go straight into the fabric cutting room and through the six-gate bag inspection process without a second incoming check.

RPET fabric FAQs

Yes when it carries a GRS transaction certificate tracing the yarn back to certified recycled PET flake. Without the certificate, "RPET" is a marketing word. We supply the certificate with every order.
