Does neoprene really insulate a lunch bag?

Yes - 3-5 mm closed-cell foam keeps contents cool for 3-4 hours. For longer, add a PEVA liner and ice pack pocket.

Can neoprene be printed all over?

Yes, by sublimation on white-faced neoprene. Photographic quality; the print does not crack when the fabric stretches.

What is the minimum for a custom colour?

500 m per colour on the jersey face - lower than most fabrics because dyeing happens on the knitted face fabric before lamination.

Neoprene is closed-cell synthetic rubber foam sandwiched between two knitted polyester faces. It stretches, cushions, insulates and repels water in a single layer - which is why it replaced foam-plus-fabric constructions in laptop sleeves, lunch bags and bottle carriers.

Senszx Fabrics stocks 2, 3 and 5 mm SBR neoprene in black and 10 colours, and CR (chloroprene) grades for premium and food-contact use. Sublimation-printable white faces are available for all-over graphics.
