Polyester Fabric for Bags: 600D, 900D and 1680D from Stock or Dyed to Pantone
Polyester is the workhorse of the bag industry: roughly seven out of ten backpacks leaving Baigou are cut from 600D polyester. It holds a screen print sharply, keeps its colour under UV, does not absorb water and costs less per metre than any nylon of equal strength.
Senszx Fabrics stocks 600D, 900D and 1680D PU-coated polyester in 60+ colours and dyes custom shades from 1,000 m. Every roll is weighed, colour-checked in a D65 cabinet and rub-tested before it is released to a cutting room.

Strengths
- Best price-to-durability ratio of any bag fabric
- Prints sharply: screen, heat-transfer and sublimation
- UV and colour stable - dye light-fastness grade 5+ available for Gulf markets
- Low moisture absorption; dries fast, does not mildew
- Widest stock colour range, so samples cut in 3-5 days
Watch out
- Heavier than nylon at equal tear strength
- Lower abrasion than 1000D nylon - not our first pick for tactical or climbing packs
- PVC-backed polyester stiffens in cold; specify PU or TPU for EU and winter markets
Coatings and finishes for polyester
The back-coating or finish decides water resistance, cold-weather behaviour and, often, whether the bag passes EU retail requirements. Cost is relative to the uncoated base fabric.
